Now is the time, Eastern Kentucky is the place.

We at Kentucky Highlands Rally would like to welcome you, racers and race fans, to join us in building and promoting a road rally event that brings the sport to an undiscovered region of the United States. The eastern portion of this beautiful state is heavily wooded, with approximately 2 million acres in Daniel Boone National Forest and thousands more in privately owned forest.

Over the years nature has been at work carving the limestone and sandstone ridges into a seemingly never-ending maze of hollows and gorges. Then came the pioneers, carving wagon trails along the valley floors and winding along the ridge tops. Now lay down a fresh layer of gravel and roll out a black coat of asphalt…….yeah…..the gods of octane have spoken…..this is meant to be.

The plan is to schedule the first annual event for the fall of 2014, but as you can imagine, this is no easy task. Lots of work needs to be done and is currently underway. As the letter writing, phone calling and meetings continue, we need you to spread the word and alert the racers….thar’s roads in them hills and they need to be driven!
